- President –
- We are missing a VP. Any ideas for a person to take role?
- Could Secretary (Mallory) assist CTTC Chair to schedule meetings & do admin?
- Answer: Group referred to ASHRAE by laws to fill vacancy. BOG to appoint VP – BOG to vote in an individual for VP position.
- CRC is Scheduled for 08/15-17 in Buffalo, NY
- Nick and Charlie will be attending to represent Chapter
- Tom will be attending as Region 1 Officer
- Was anyone else attending?
- No one else is attending.

- Monthly Meeting Venue. Do we want to mix it up?
- How important is distance from Burlington?
- How important is food and cost?
- Answer: Greg to present a spreadsheet comparing costs per plate and how much more or less food costs are with other venues around town.
- Answer: Survey monkey to be implemented to get more of an idea of how people would feel about pricing and location change.
- Tom Z. mentioned using the Lake Champlain commers group to send out RFP to surrounding venues to get more ideas of cost/ packages.
- Golf Event
- 14 teams, 2 individuals.
- $215 (times 2) raised for RP in Putting contest.
- Rob went over what worked and improvements for next year.
- Dates – Conflicts with other contests. Companies couldn’t send people to multiple golf events in same week.
- PAOE Updated for 2019-2020 ASHRAE year.
- Tom Z reported on points status, currently the group is above par at 9,399 points.
- It was advised for BOG members to read over new PAOE
- MBOs (goals) are due in September for each committee chair
- Budget. Discuss and finalize in September.
- What are the national member dues and expenses?
- Treasurer – Balance is $13,803.78
- Golf Event Expenditure $5,487.84
- Golf Event Income $8,390.00
- We raised $1,500 less than 2018
- Treasury Audit
- Conducted on July 10 by Jeremiah Trombly and Tom Zoller. Everything was found to be in order and checking account balance matches Quickbooks entries.
- CTTC – Upcoming meetings??
- Next three months are scheduled.
- Historian – 50th Anniversary of chapter
- The official charter was signed Oct 2, 1970. But the chapter was operating in 1969 because we have records of meetings, and Bill Lotz is listed as the president. So, we must have initially been a sub chapter of Montreal.
- Best to plan for a celebration in Fall of 2020.
- MP – MP Chair to check in on member vs. student rates
- NEW BUSINESS –
- Lowering budget for club sponsorship – Nick T. wanted to lower price at some point. Exploration of why and other options for sponsor structure.
- Nick mentioned a lower ties option for sponsorship.
