        1. Rachel made many updates, still some work to do
        2. Rachel offered to take over this role in the short term
        3. Looking for someone for long term – have money in budget
          1. Greg’s brother perhaps interested
        4. Newsletter – will use MailChimp template – all ready to go
        5. Sponsors page – critical to update immediately
        6. To do – remove photo of updater on site (currently Blaine)
      2. Nominating Committee
        1. 3 people – only 1 can be from current BOG, 2 must be from general members
          1. January – committee begins to put together next years officers/BOG
          2. May – Vote
        2. Next BOG – Vote/ form nominating committee
      3. Treasury
        1. Received income w/ 3 companies @ silver level sponsorships – 3 x $400 = $1,200
        2. Initial estimate were for 10 companies at various donation levels, resulting in revenue of $3,900.
  • Important to lock-in gold or platinum sponsors now as there are only 5 or so meetings left for year, and that level results in their logo being displayed at 5 meetings.
  1. Current sponsorship results in logo displayed at meetings & logo displayed on website
    1. Brainstorming for future –
      1. Let sponsors talk to group for a few minutes as long as no commercialism; perhaps talk reviewed by BOG member & only for platinum donators
      2. Offer students to submit resumes – platinum donating companies get access to such resumes
    2. Spread out calling of 35 companies among all of BOG – Nick to email group

      4. February – Better Buildings by Design Conference
        1. Special rate ($60) for ASHRAE CVC members – Pay online
        2. Covers two afternoon sessions & social event 1pm -7 pm (no lunch)
        3. Vs regular full day rate of $200
        4. No cost or revenue for CVC
        5. To do – Gift for DL
      5. March – 10 min YEA intro & Open – possible VGBN joint tour of Suncommon
      6. Looking to coordinate w/ VGBN, but their yearly galla is in March
      7. April – Electrical vehicle demo day
      8. May – Distinguished lecturer? – Kitchen Ventilation
      9. June – Fun event
      10. Potential Event – 6-8 Hr VRF – Dakin offer to speak for CVC
        1. March or May?
        2. Service vs Design
        3. To verify if presentation can be tailored to designers and can it be product- free non – Dakin specific & still a complementary presentation?
        4. Cut down length of presentation
        5. CVC member review slides
          1. Paste ASHRAE logo over manufacture logos if needed
