- “Chapter leaders should consider whether in-person meetings are appropriate based on the local circumstances and a local risk assessment. Some areas across the country where there is a greater risk, we have seen some Chapters cancel their Chapter meetings until further notice. On the other hand, other chapters are continuing to hold meetings. The choice is up to you as president of your Chapter and your board of governors. If you decide to cancel the in-person meetings, you may want to take advantage an electronic format so you can still conduct a monthly meeting virtually. Use of webinars, GoToMeetings, and other electronic meeting systems are encouraged. The safety and welfare of members is our highest priority.
