Thomas Engineering Associates, PC, an established consulting engineering firm in central Vermont, has an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC design engineer. A PE is preferred, but will consider someone with extensive experience who also meets the other requirements.
Requirements:
BSME or equivalent combined education and experience
Highly proficient with AutoCAD and other relevant software
Minimum of 5 years direct experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, educational and medical facilities
Able to produce Load calculations using HAP software
Able to specify equipment
Able to work with minimal supervision, set priorities, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Able to communicate effectively in person (meetings), teleconferencing, and with written reports
Have working knowledge of LEED requirements
