Combined ASHRAE/VHES Meeting Buried Treasure: Unlocking the Energy Beneath Our Feet

March 21 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

Join George Martin (LN Consulting), Bob Bolin (Burlington Electric Department), and Matt Napolitan (CxAssociates) for an insightful discussion on the benefits of thermal energy storage. George will highlight a geothermal project at Rutland Regional Medical Center, while Bob and Matt explore the long-term advantages of ice storage, using Champlain College’s nearly 30-year-old system as a case study. Discover how these technologies enhance energy efficiency, reduce costs, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure.

Objectives:

  • How does geothermal / ice storage work, and what makes them effective
  • What are main advantages / limitations
  • How can organizations integrate these technologies into their sustainability efforts

Free for everyone thanks for our friends at VHES! 1 PDH will be assigned after the presentation.
