Resource Promotion Update

The 2020-21 Resource Promotion (“RP”) campaign wrapped up in July and contributions rebounded somewhat compared to the COVID-19 Pandemic affected 2019-20 Campaign. ASHRAE Society fell about 10% short of the goal, while Region 1 exceeded the goal by 3.5%.
• Society: $2.6 Million goal vs. $2.3 Million raised
• Region 1: $212,000 goal vs. $219,600 raised
Our Chapter was able to just meet our goal of $6,700. Donations came from 6 companies and 20 individuals, equivalent to 15-20% of our Chapter members. Our Chapter should be proud of the money we were able to raise and continue to support the important ASHRAE research that continues despite the Pandemic. In particular, we had the most donations from our Officers and BOG members of all 15 Chapters in our Region!
