The 2019-20 Resource Promotion (“RP”) campaign wrapped up in July and funding was challenged due to the Pandemic. Both ASHRAE Society and Region 1 fell around 20% short of annual goals.
Society: $2.6 Million goal vs. $2.1 Million raised
Region 1: $212,000 goal vs. $177,600 raised
Our Chapter came out somewhat better, only 10% short of our goal of $6,700, raising $6,230. Donations came from 5 companies and 21 individuals, equivalent to 15-20% of our Chapter members. Our Chapter should be proud of the money we were able to raise and continue to support the important ASHRAE research that continues despite the Pandemic. In particular, we had the second most donations from our Offices and BOG of all 15 Chapters in our Region
