I will be attending the ASHRAE Young Engineers in ASHRAE Leadership weekend in Portland, OR on March 14th through 17th to network with other young engineers from across the country and the globe. This weekend is about expanding engineering knowledge, meeting other young engineers, developing leadership skills, communication techniques and understanding personalities. There will also be a focus on learning what other ASHRAE leadership opportunities there are. Thanks to the support of ASHRAE Region 1 and the Champlain Valley Chapter for attendance assistance. I hope to take the skills I develop at the leadership weekend and put them to use in my work with the Champlain Valley Chapter of ASHRAE.
